Sergey Brodsky was born in Novosibirsk, the Siberian capital. With 7 years studied music, and the first steps in writing own music already did in age 9 years. After graduating from the 8th grade of the Novosibirsk secondary special music school at the Glinka Conservatory, he continued his studies at the Novosibirsk Music College (now the Murov music College). After graduating from College he entered the Novosibirsk Conservatory and began working in parallel in The Theater of musical Comedy (Novosibirsk Musical Theater). In the 2nd year of the Conservatory he got a job at the Novosibirsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre-where he still works as a Concertmaster of the flute group (first flute).

Great influence on the style of music had numerous experiences of performing with different groups, ensembles (duets-Flute with Harp, Flute with Cello, Flute with Guitar, Flute with Accordion and Many others., Playing in: Chamber, Wind, Symphony, Folk orchestras., participation in projects of different directions-Rock, Punk, Folk, Fusion, Jazz.) experience in teaching as a flute teacher also helped.
